Extension Requirements for Wheat Crop Farming in Al - Hasakah Governorate

| Abstract |
The research aimed to identify some characteristics of wheat growers in Al-Hasakah Governorate and determine their extension needs in this important crop and study the relationship between the extension needs and some personal characteristics, communication and productivity of planting, and finally identify the most important problems and difficulties facing them. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the questionnaire was designed as a means of collecting the study data from a random sample of 224 farms for the wheat crop from agricultural areas in Hasakah governorate. Weighted or weighted arithmetic, Kai square test, and simple correlation coefficient in analyzing study data and testing hypotheses using SPSS.
The main findings of the study are the presence of high and medium extension requirements for wheat crop, where the average general knowledge and skills of farmers (49.8) and a standard deviation of (8.89) and (72.3)

| الملخص |
استهدف البحث التعرف على بعض خصائص مزارعي محصول القمح في محافظة الحسكة وتحديد احتياجاتهم الإرشادية في هذا المحصول الهام و دراسة العلاقة بين الاحتياجات الإرشادية وبعض الخصائص الشخصية و الاتصالية والإنتاجية لزراعه ، و أخيرا تحديد أهم المشاكل و الصعوبات التي تواجههم . ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم تصميم الاستبيان بالمقابلة الشخصية كوسيلة الجمع بيانات الدراسة، من عينة عشوائية بلغ حجمها (224) مزارع لمحصول القمح من مناطق زراعية في محافظة الحسكة ، وتم استخدم كل من العرض الجدولي بالتكرار و النسب المئوية، والمتوسط الحسابي ، و الانحراف المعياري ، والمتوسط الحسابي الموزون أو المرجح ، واختبار مربع كاي ، ومعامل الارتباط البسيط في تحليل بيانات الدراسة واختبار فروضها باستخدام برنامج التحليل الإحصائي SPSS.
وتتلخص أهم نتائج الدراسة في وجود احتياجات إرشادية مرتفعة ومتوسطة الزراع محصول القمح حيث بلغ المتوسط العام المعارف و مهارات الزراع ( 49.8 ) و انحراف معیاري قدره ( 8.89)وبنسبة ( %72.3)
