High water tanks are considered an important engineering structures that exist in abundance in the various communities in the Syrian Arab Republic. Since, the high water tank supplies the water in a compressed and then discharge the water by relieve through a network of fresh water, which may exposes the high water tank to constantly changing dynamic loads. In addition, it is a water facility and the possibility of leakage of water under the foundation is quite large, which may cause changes in the behavior of soil under the foundation and which may lead to movement depending on the nature of the changes and deformation of the soil. Hence, the columns are subjected to distortion or deformation as a result of this change which will cause a major threat to stability of the high water tank. To observe these movements, these can be done by using accurate surveying instruments and by utilization a surveying monitoring program to find out any movement and to set the amount and direction, if any, whether it happen during implementation or after the investment of facility which will help to search for the causes of these movements and propose appropriate solutions and processing in a timely manner. This research deals with determining the deformation of the tank columns by monitoring them by several methods according to surveying monitoring, and choosing the best way method for monitoring similar engineering structures.

تعتبر خزانات المياه العالية من المنشآت الهندسية الهامة التي تتواجد بكثرة في مختلف التجمعات السكانية, وباعتبار أن تزويد هذه الخزانات بالماء يتم بطريقة مضغوطة وتفريغها بالراحة عبر شبكة المياه العذبة, الأمر الذي يعرضها إلى حمولات ديناميكية متغيرة باستمرار. بالإضافة إلى احتمال تسرب المياه تحت أساساتها كبير, مما يسبب تغيرات في سلوك التربة قد يؤدي إلى تحرك الأساسات وبالتالي انحراف الأعمدة أو تشوهها, وقد تتعرض الأعمدة إلى انحراف أو تشوه نتيجة الأخطاء التنفيذ, مما يشكل خطرا على استقرار الخزان. إن مراقبة هذه التحركات بواسطة الأجهزة المساحية الدقيقة واعتماد برنامج مراقبة مساحي والكشف المبكر عن أي تحرك وتعيين مقداره واتجاهه, سواء أكان ذلك أثناء التنفيذ أو بعد استثمار المنشأة, يساعد على البحث عن أسباب هذه التحركات ووضع الحلول المناسبة لمعالجتها في الوقت المناسب. يتناول هذا البحث تعيين انحراف أعمدة خزان الزيدي, وذلك من خلال مراقبتها بعدة طرائق وفق برنامج مراقبة مساحي واختيار الطريقة المثلى وتعميمها من أجل مراقبة المنشآت المشابهة هندسيا.
