Today, Syria is seeking to automate the administrative work at the governmental body to meet the requirements of the quality of performance and delivery of work in time and place. Although it's still in the beginning but IT can not retreat now that it has become inescapable reality. The researcher began from the reality of IT in the public service as a prelude to the proposal of a database that serve the career paths for staff, help put the right individual in the right place, and seek to bring about an agreement between the incumbent and the conditions required to fill this post, and the result of consensus among the goals of the individuals and the objectives of the organizations which they work for.

تسعى سورية اليوم إلى أتمتة العمل الإداري في الجهاز الحكومي تلبية المتطلبات جودة الأداء وانجاز الأعمال في الزمان والمكان المناسبين. ومع أنها لا تزال في البدايات لكنها لا تستطيع التراجع فقد أصبحت المعلوماتية واقع لا مفر منه. وقد انطلقت الباحثة من واقع المعلوماتية في الجهاز الحكومي تمهيدا لاقتراح قاعدة بيانات تخدم المسارات الوظيفية للموظفين، تساعد على وضع الانسان المناسب في المكان المناسب، والسعي لإحداث توافق بين شاغل الوظيفة والشروط اللازمة لشغل هذه الوظيفة، وما ينتج عن ذلك من توافق بين أهداف الأفراد وأهداف المنظمات التي يعملون بها
