Characteristics of the university professor as perceived by high studies students. Afield study at the faculty of Education in Damascus university

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the differences among the students of high studies in Damascus university,faculty of education towards the evaluation of their teachers and to reveal the students most important qualities according to the variable of gender ,specialization the type of direction, and university the research also presents some suggestion in the light of its result the researcher made questionnaire consisting of 57 items revolving around three axes the questionnaire has been applied on a sample of 59 high studies students of both gender and different specialization

The result of the research: 

1- The existence of no difference of statistical indication betweenmale and female high studies students of damascus university faculty of education in their attitudes towards their teachers in the indicational level of 0,05 most of the students have colorless attitudes towards their teachers the reason of having no statistical indication differences in their opinions about their teachers and about their having individual academic,social. Reaction qualities is attributed to the variable of the university from which they received their degree at the indicational levelof 0,05

 2- The existence of differences of statistical indication between the students of general educational domains and the students of special education domains in their attitudes towards their teachers and in their attitudes towards their teachers qualities (educational,individual, academic and social reaction qualities)

 3- The differences were for the benefit of special educational domains at the indicational level of 0,05 also there are difference of statistical indication between the students of general education domains and the students of psychological domains in their attitudes towards their teachers for the benefit of psychology students at the indicational level of 0,05

هدف البحث الحالي معرفة ما هي الفروق بين طلبة الدراسات العليا في كلية التربية بجامعة دمشق نحو تقويم أداء مدرسيهم، والكشف عن أهم الصفات التي يتمتعون بها تبعا لمتغير الجنس والاختصاص ونوع الاتجاه والجامعة ثم تم تقديم بعض المقترحات في ضوء ما أظهر عنه هذا البحث من نتائج ولتحقيق ذلك قام الباحث بإعداد استبانه مؤلفة من 57 بندا تتمحور فيه ثلاث محاور وتم تطبيقها على عينة من طلبة الدراسات العليا، وقد بلغ عددهم 59 طالبا وطالبة باختصاصاتهم المختلفة.
