(ALtadmeen) is a linguistic phenomenon which was studied by the earlier grammarians especially those who were interested in the holy Qura' an. These studies were developed later by (Ibn ginni) and (Al zama Kshari) and others. They cleared up that (Al Tadmeen) includes verbs which are used sometimes in a way that breaks the standard rules of transitivity and intransitivity. this search aims to study their opinions and to discus some issues related to it like the alternation of prepositions.

التضمين ظاهرة لغوية تنبه إليها القدماء، ولاسيما معربو القرآن كالفراء والزجاج والأخفش، وهي عندهم تندرج في ظاهرة أخرى أوسع منها هي الحمل على المعنى، وفي هذا الإطار تناولها ابن جني في خصائصه، بيد أنه رسم حدودها، وجعلها بابا مخصوصا من أبواب هذا الضرب من الحمل، مداره على مخالفة الفعل المألوف من استعماله في اللزوم والتعدي. وأغلب الظن أن الزمخشري هو من أوائل من أطلق عليها اسم التضمين، وتابعه المتأخرون .و التضمين في جوهره عدول عن أصل الاستعمال، وقد تصرف بعض أمثلته إلى وجوه أخرى كنزع الخافض، أو زيادة الحروف، أو تناوب حروف الجر .وقد سعى البحث إلى دراسة هذه الظاهرة، وبيان صورها، ومناقشة بعض ما يتصل بها من أقوال و مسائل.
