The experiment was carried out on two groups of Friesian cows during the milking season The first consisted of 10 cows with an average weight of 500 + 20 kg. The conditions of care and shelter were similar to those of the two groups.

The results showed that the replacement of soybean by cotton gain in cattle diets did not significantly affect the consumption of dry matter but resulted in improved consumption of raw and digested protein and starch equivalent. The results also showed that the addition of soybeans to cattle diets resulted in decreased activity of Gpl, SGol, LDH and C enzymes in the serum and also did not affect the parameters of protein metabolism (except urea), while the level of glucose and decreased cholesterol level did not affect the level of fat and mineral elements.

نفذت التجربة على مجموعتين من أبقار الفريزيان وهي في موسم الحلابة الأول ضم كل منها 10 بقرات بمتوسط وزن حي 500+20 كغ وقد تماثلت ظروف الرعاية والإيواء الأبقار المجموعتين وقدمت إليها عليقه متماثلة في موادها العلفية باستثناء اختلاف عليقه مجموعه التجربة باستبدال 2.5كغ کسبة صويا ب2.5كغ کسبة قطن.
