The experiment was conducted at Research Center University Euphrates in Deir ezzor during the seasons 2008/2009 and 2009 / 2010 time in spring and autumn, and research aims to study the best varieties adapted to the circumstances of the region and determine the best time for agricultural cultivation and production of varieties . Calculated total weights of fresh and dry matter , plant height in early flowering and the percentage of leaves of the branches of the vegetation of the Growing season follows , the results showed superiority spring an average 23177.75 kg/donam (1000 m) on the autumn time an average 17722.5 kg/d. significantly in the yield of fresh weight, and dried weight in the field 7712.5 ,5500.75 kg/d. respectively, and Showed Australian variety significant superiority in production on The rest of the varieties studied an average 21433 kg/d. in fresh weight and 7075.5 kg/d. dried weight, as above in length an average 49.9 cm , and the proportion of leaves to vegetative branches an average 47%.

نفذت تجارب هذا البحث بمركز أبحاث جامعة الفرات الواقع في قرية المريعية شرق مدينة دير الزور خلال الموسمين 2008 /2009 و 2009 / 2010 في العروتين الربيعية و الخريفية ، بهدف دراسة و اختيار أفضل الأصناف المتأقلمة مع ظروف المنطقة و تحديد العروة الزراعية المثلى لزراعة و إنتاج هذه الأصناف . بينت نتائج هذا البحث من خلال دراسة مجموعة أوزان المادة الخضراء و الجافة وأطوال النباتات في بداية الإزهار و نسبة الأوراق للأفرع الخضرية الموسم النمو الثاني تفوق العروة الربيعية بمتوسط 23177.75كغ / دونم على العروة الخريفية بمتوسط 17722.5كغ / دونم بفروق معنوية في غلة المادة الخضراء و في غلة المادة المجففة حقلية بمتوسط 7712.5و5500.75كغ / دونم على التوالي، و أبدى الصنف الأسترالي تفوقا معنويا في الإنتاج على باقي الأصناف المدروسة بمتوسط 21433 كغ / دونم بالنسبة للوزن الأخضر و 5 . 7075 كغ / دونم للوزن المجفف حقليا ، كما تفوق بصفة الطول بمتوسط قدره 49.9 سم ، و بصفة نسبة الأوراق للأفرع الخضرية بمتوسط 47 % .
