Chronic psychological stress and its Relationship With the personality Dimensions A Field study on a sample of students of Education Faculty in University of Damascus

| Abstract |
This research aims to reveal the possible relationship between chronic psychological stress and Eysenck personality dimensions (Extraversion -Neuroticism -Psychoticism) among a sample of (200) students from Damascus university - Faculty of Education the research also tries to know the differences in the performance between the sample members on the research tools that related to the sex variable, after testing the assumptions we reached the following results: 1. Neuroticism: There is a significant positive correlation at the level of (0.01) between neuroticism and chronic stress. 2. Extraversion: There is a significant negative correlation between Extraversion and chronic stress at the level of (0.05). 3. Psychoticism: There is a significant correlation at the level of (0.05) between psychoticism and chronic stress. |

| الملخص |
يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن العلاقة المحتملة، بين الضغوط النفسية المزمنة، وأبعاد الشخصية لدي أيزنك (الانبساط، العصابية، الذهانية) لدى عينة من طلبة جامعة دمشق - كلية التربية - حيث بلغ عدد أفراد عينة البحث (۲۰۰) طالبا وطالبة، كما يحاول هذا البحث معرفة الفروق في أداء أفراد عينة البحث على أدوات البحث، التي تعزى إلى متغير الجنس، وبعد اختبار الفرضيات تم التوصل إلى النتائج التالية: 1.العصابية: وجود ارتباط ايجابي دال عند مستوى الدلالة (0,01 ) بین العصابية، والضغوط النفسية المزمنة.
2.الانبساطية: وجود ارتباط سلبي بين الانبساطية، والضغوط النفسية المزمنة، عند مستوی(0,05)
٣. الذهانية: وجود ارتباط دال عند مستوى( 0,05)بين الذهانية، والضغوط النفسية المزمنة. |
