In this investigation, the content of Silicon, Phosphorus, Sulfur, Calcium, Scandium, Iron, Copper, Zinc, Germanium, Arsenic, Selenium, Bromine, Strontium, Yttrium, Niobium, Ruthenium, Lead, Cadmium and Thulium in different parts of Zizyphora teniour Linn specie were determined using Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometry. The Zizyphora teniour Linn specie which is widely spread was collected from the region of karrah Kozakke located in northeast of Aleppo-Syria. Photons of 5.9 keV emitted by an annular ⁵⁵Fe radioactive source was used to excite the characteristic X-rays of various elements present in the zizyphora teniour L. samples. The concentrations were measured by external standard and addition standard method. The good precision and accuracy, led to satisfactory results which were analyzed and discussed in this paper.
