 This experiment was conducted on 156 cows of Frisian race at Deir Ezzor cows station to study effect of season and stage of lactation , and udder health quarter on somatic cell count ( SCC ) in milk as well as the relation between somatic cell count and daily production of milk along with its content of fat, protein and lactose.                                                                   

6240 samples of milk were obtained during the lactation season from the different quarter of the udder, where the somatic cell count, and percent of fat, protein and lactose in these samples were determined.    Results showed that season and stage of lactation , and  the udder quarter has significant effect on the somatic cell count of milk, and the relation between milk production and the somatic cell count was negatively significant. Whereas the relation between milk content of fat, protein and lactose was no significant.                                                    

Raising average of SCC in milk samples ( 157 x 103 ) cell ml indicated existing several cases of subclinical mastitis . Also, the results showed that average of SCC in the back quarters was superior to the front ones. From the results, the SCC can be taken as an indicator to the udder health in cows and this test must be done regularly in the cattle for the early prediction of the udder health condition.

أجريت تجربة على /156/ بقرة من سلالة فريزيان في مبقرة دير الزور بهدف دراسة تأثير الموسم ومرحلة الحلابة وربع الضرع في عدد الخلايا الجسمية في الحليب ، وكذلك العلاقة بين عدد الخلايا الجسمية وكمية الإنتاج اليومي من الحليب ومحتواه من الدهن والبروتين واللاكتوز. 

تم الحصول على /6240/ عينة حليب خلال فصل الحلابة ومن أرباع الضرع المختلفة وجرى تقدير كلا من عدد الخلايا الجسمية ونسبة الدهن والبروتين واللاكتوز في هذه العينات. 

بينت النتائج أن للموسم ومرحلة الحلابة وربع الضرع تأثير معنوي في عدد الخلايا الجسمية للحليب وكانت العلاقة بين إنتاج الحليب وعدد الخلايا الجسمية سلبية ومعنوية بينما كانت العلاقة بين محتوى الحليب من الدهن والبروتين واللاكتوز فكانت سلبية أيضا إلا أنها غير معنوية. 

إن ارتفاع متوسط عدد الخلايا الجسمية في عينات الحليب 310x157 خلية /مل يدل على وجود حالات التهاب الضرع تحت السريري ، كما بينت النتائج أن متوسط عدد الخلايا الجسمية في الأرباع الخلفية يتفوق على الأرباع الأمامية. 

من خلال النتائج يمكن اعتماد عدد الخلايا الجسمية كمؤشر للدلالة على صحة الضرع في الأبقار ولابد من إجراء هذا الاختبار بشكل دوري في القطيع من أجل التنبؤ المبكر عن الحالة الصحية للضرع.
