Our study is based on the geological investigations, in the field as well as in the laboratory, in order to identify underground and surface karstic phenomena. The studied area is Wadi Aloyon, in the Syrian coast, which contains more karstic phenomena. The purpose is the correlation between the karstic phenomena and the litho-stratigraphic units. Through the geological survey and the geological studies a detailed typical litho-stratigraphic column, is established, in addition to identifying all the Karstic phenomena, and the factors that affect the forming of these Karstic phenomena, and the implications of these operations on the rock beds. This paper also helps in understanding the general hydrogeology and identifying the springs zone in the area. This type of work puts such studies in the exact scientific frame in a detailed and comprehensive way.

تعتمد هذه الدراسة على استخدام التحريات الجيولوجية ,في الحقل كما في المخبر , لتمييز المظاهر الكارستية الجوفية و السطحية . تمحورت دراستنا على منطقة وادي العيون في المنطقة الساحلية, لأن هذه المنطقة تحتوي على الكثير من المظاهر الكارستية, بهدف الربط بين مظاهر الكارستية و الليتوستراتغرافيا . من خلال المسح والدراسات الجيولوجية , تم وضع عمود ليتوستراتغرافي نموذجي لمنطقة الدراسة بشكل تفصيلي , إضافة إلى تحديد جميع المظاهر الكارستية والعوامل المؤثرة في تشكل هذه المظاهر, وانعكاسات هذه العمليات على الطبقات الصخرية . يساعد هذا البحث على فهم الهيدروجيولوجيا العامة وتحديد نطاق الينابيع في المنطقة. كما أن هذا النموذج من العمل يضع مثل هذه الدراسات في الإطار العلمي الدقيق بشكل تفصيلي ومتكامل.
