The sovereignty of a state is represnted by a group of aspects, some of which are: declaring war and peace, exchanging diplomatic relations with other states, ... etc.

These aspects give the state a manifest and independent entity.

Though, this conception of a state's sovereignty, due to successive developments, has evolved and narrowel.

It has been influenced by the contemporary concepts introduced by Globalization and it concequences.

يتناول هذا البحث ما طرأ على مفهوم سيادة الدولة من تطورات ملحوظة نتيجة لتداعيات نهاية الحرب الباردة, وشيوع العولمة, والاهتمام بحقوق الإنسان والأقليات. الأمر الذي أدى إلى انحسار مفهوم السيادة التقليدية لحساب انتشار مفاهيم الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان.
