| Abstract |
The study was performed on pomegranate Punica granatum L. (Var. sosah) during (2012) season in agricultural center in Deir ezzor. It aimed to determine effect of fruitful pruning on some morphological, and yield characteristics of trees and fruits in pomegranate, the study adverted to: existence of marked increase in fruit numbers, young branch numbers, fruits weight and yield per tree of pruning trees compared with non pruning, also non-existence incorporeity differences in flower numbers between tow treatment.

| الملخص |
تمت الدراسة على أشجار الرمان(.Punica granatum L) صنف سوسة Sosah خلال الموسم الزراعي 2012 في المركز الزراعي بمحافظة دير الزور لمعرفة تأثير التقليم الإثماري على الصفات المورفولوجيا والإنتاجية لأشجار وثمار الرمان, وقد أشارت الدراسة إلى: وجود زيادة ملحوظة في عدد الثمار العاقدة, عدد الأغصان الفتية, وزن الثمار, وإنتاجية الشجرة الواحدة نتيجة التقليم مقارنة مع الأشجار التي تركت بدون تقليم. ولم توجد فروق معنوية في عدد الأزهار بين المعاملتين.
