The research problem about trying to answer the main question: what degree of skill levels of effective communication when counselors Psychologists - social workers in the schools of the city of Damascus. The search adopted descriptive analytical method, and the method of social survey sample through a sample of workers employed in the schools of the city of Damascus, and the volume of the sample( 90) counselors by (12%), It was designed to measure the scale of effective communication skill as a tool to collect the required data. The research found a set of results is the most important:

- There are significant differences on the degree of the variables related to the skill of effective communication when counselors working in schools in the city of Damascus, according to the measure of the skill of effective communication variable depending on the sex

- There are no significant differences for the variables regarding - the degree of skill of effective communication when counselors working in schools in the city of Damascus, according to the measure of the skill of effective communication depending on the variables of academic qualifications, receive training course, working as a guide for teachers, workplace

تتمثل مشكلة البحث في محاولة الإجابة عن السؤال الرئيسي الآتي : ما مستويات درجة مهارة الاتصال الفعال عند المرشدين النفسيين - الاجتماعيين العاملين في مدارس مدينة دمشق وقد اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وطريقة المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة من خلال عينة من المرشدين العاملين في مدارس مدينة دمشق، و بلغ حجم عينة الدراسة (90) مرشدا ومرشدة بنسبة (12%) ، وتم تصميم مقياس لقياس مهارة الاتصال الفعال كأداة لجمع البيانات المطلوبة. وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج ومن أهمها: توجد فروق ذات دلالة معنوية بخصوص المتغيرات المتعلقة بدرجة مهارة الاتصال الفعال عند المرشدين العاملين في مدارس مدينة دمشق، بحسب مقیاس مهارة الاتصال الفعال تبعا لمتغير الجنس. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة معنوية للمتغيرات المتعلقة بدرجة مهارة الاتصال الفعال عند المرشدين العاملين في مدارس مدينة دمشق، بحسب مقياس مهارة الاتصال الفعال تبعا لمتغيرات المؤهل الدراسي، تلقي دورة تدريبية، مدة العمل كمرشد مدرسي، و مكان العمل .
