The study aimed at determining the factors that affect the profitability of some of the private commercial banks in Syria: Bemo Saudi Fransi Bank, Byblos Bank, Bank Audi, and Arab Bank - Syria. To achieve this, the researcher collected the necessary financial data for the banks for the period 2006-2016, The study examined the behavior of the dependent variable, which is the profitability of banks, and the independent variables such as the size of the equity, the debt ratio, and the liquidity. To achieve this, a model was constructed to measure the relationship between independent and dependent variables based on the Linear Regression Equation Model. The study is based on a number of results, the most important of which is the existence of a correlation relationship, which differs from one bank to another, between profitability and the size of equity, size of indebtedness and liquidity.

هدفت الدراسة الى تحديد العوامل المؤثرة على ربحية بعض البنوك التجارية الخاصة في سورية وهي بنك بيمو السعودي الفرنسي وبنك بيبلوس وبنك عودة والبنك العربي-سوريا, ولتحقيق ذلك قام الباحث بجمع البيانات المالية اللازمة عن البنوك عينة الدراسة وذلك عن الفترة (2006-2016) , وتحليلها إحصائياً, حيث تم دراسة سلوك المتغير التابع المتمثل في ربحية البنوك, والمتغيرات المستقلة المتمثلة في حجم حقوق الملكية, ونسبة المديونية, والسيولة النقدية, ولتحقيق ذلك تم بناء نموذج لقياس العلاقة بين المتغيرات المستقلة والمتغير التابع بالاستناد إلى نموذج معادلة الانحدار الخطي، وتوصلت الدراسة الى عدد من النتائج أهمها وجود علاقة ارتباط تختلف قوتها بين بنك وآخر بين الربحية وكل من حجم حقوق الملكية ، حجم المديونية وحجم السيولة.
