نفذ هذا البحث في المشتل الحراجي بمحافظة ديرا لزور للموسم الزراعي 2012/2011على نباتات السفرجل cydonia   ablonga زرعت العقل في أحواض (3-1.5)م وذلك لدراسة إمكانية تجذير العقل الساقية للسفرجل ومعرفة تأثير بعض العوامل (أندول حمض بيوتربك ,خزن بارد ,جرح العقل ,مكان أخذ العقلة )على عملية تشكل الكالوس والتجذير ولتحليل النتائج استخدم لكل عامل من العوامل 36عقلة باستثناء التسميد الورقي 20عقلة وقد تبين إن المعاملة بالأوكسجين2000جزء بالمليون أو جرح القاعدة بشكل أفرادي أو مشترك قد شجع على تشكل الكالوس  أما التخزين خفض من تشكل الكالوس ,ومصدر العقلة أثر فأعلى نسبة تجذر كانت في العقل المأخوذة من سرطانات والمعاملة بالأوكسجين وجرح القاعدة ,كما لعب التسميد دورا فأعلى نسبة تجذير كانت في العقل الوسطية والقاعدة المعاملة بالا وكسين والمسمدة .
