The research aims to uncover the potential relationship between the skills of creative thinking and the achievement of science in a sample of the sixth grade pupils in Queen Balqis School (Damascus City, Al Qanawat). The number of students is 90 students, (54) males and 36 females, a sample available, using the analytical descriptive approach. The research is based on the hypothesis that performance on the test of innovative thinking is positively related to performance on the achievement test of science.

The research also attempted to answer the following question: Are there differences in performance on the test of innovative thinking, and performance on the achievement test of science, depending on the gender variable (males and females).

After testing the hypotheses, the following results were obtained:

1. There is a statistically significant correlation between the performance of the students on the test of innovative thinking, and the performance of the students on the achievement test of science in the members of the research sample.

2. There are statistically significant differences between male performance and female performance on the test of innovative thinking and the achievement of science subjects in favor of males.

3. There are statistically significant differences between the performance of students with the highest attainment of science, and students with the lowest level of science on the test of innovative thinking, for the benefit of students with higher science achievement.
