 The experiment was conducted at the agricultural research region ,in Al-Raqqa State, during 2013 on sort of Buckwheat  (Ukrainian) (fagpyrumesculentum L.) , there sort from Russia, three sowing date (1/3,15/3 and 1/4) with tow three densities (30 ,40and 50 kg/a) .The experiment was arranged in a Split-Block  Design with three replications . The research was conducted to study the sowing possibility of Buckwheat in environmental conditions of Raqqa and determination density and sowing date suitable sorte to agriculture in Al-Raqqa State .

We were studied the following characters : days to maturity , days to physiological maturity , Plant height , leaf area, 1000 seed weight ,plant productivity and seed yield .

The results of the experiment showed that sowing date 15/3are superior significantly than others date and recorded a seed yield reached to 371 kg/a  .

Characters showed opposite response to increased plant density from 40 to 50kg/d .While the 15/3 sowing incrated significantly for maturity earlier ,capsules length and seed yield (kg/a). Therefore ,recommended for sustainable cultivation in the Al-Raqqa condition ,by used sort of Ukrainian Buckwheat in the 15/3 sowing date with plant denity50kg/a .

 اجري هذا البحث في الرقة في العام 2013 وعلى نبات الحنطة السوداء وذلك في ثلاث مواعيد15/3 و25/3 و15/4،و ثلاث معدلات بذار 1- 30كغم /دونم 2- 40كغم /دونم 3- 50كغم /دونم ، صممت التجربة بطريقة القطاعات تحت المنشقة وعلى ثلاث مكررات ، الهدف من البحث دراسة امكانية زراعة محصول الحنطة السوداء ضمن الظروف البيئية لمحافظة الرقة وتحديد الموعد الأمثل لزراعة هذا المحصول  ،وقد دلت نتائج الابحاث تفوق الموعد الأول (15/3 ) في الإنتاجية على المواعيد الأخرى حيث بلغت الإنتاجية371 كغ/دونم وعند المعادلة ومعدل بذار 65 كغ /دونم ، أيضا تفوق المعدل 50كغم/الدونم معنويا على معدلي البذار 30 كغم و40 كغم /دونم  .
