 The research aimed to identify the degree to which teachers of the first cycle of basic education applied modern educational strategies in science, and to investigate the effect of the number of years of teacher experience in that. The descriptive approach was used, and the research tool was a questionnaire consisting of (62) statements prepared by the two researchers. The research sample included (278) male and female first-year teachers in schools in the city of Latakia. The results of the research revealed that the research sample of teachers of the first cycle of basic education in schools in the city of Latakia applied strategies; Problem solving, brainstorming, and cooperative learning to a moderate degree. While the research sample applied the flipped classroom and survey strategies with a degree below the mean. As for the concept map strategy, the degree of its application by the research sample was above average. The results of the research also revealed that the number of years of experience of a teacher does not affect the degree to which he or she applies modern educational strategies in teaching science to the questionnaire as a whole and to each axis separately.

 هدف البحث إلى تعرّف درجة تطبيق معلّميّ الحلقة الأولى من التّعليم الأساسيّ للاستراتيجيّات التدريسية الحديثة في مادّة العلوم، وتقصّي أثر عدد سنوات خبرة المعلّم في ذلك. استُخدم المنهج الوصفي، وكانت أداة البحث استبانة مكونة من(62) عبارةَ من إعداد الباحثتين، وشملت عينة البحث (278) معلّماً ومعلمة من معلّميّ الحلقة الأولى في مدارس مدينة اللاذقيّة. كشفت نتائج البحث أنّ عيّنة البحث من معلّميّ الحلقة الأولى من التّعليم الأساسيّ في مدارس مدينة اللّاذقيّة يطّبقون استراتيجيّات؛ حلّ المشكلات، العصف الذّهنيّ، التّعلّم التّعاونيّ بدرجة متوسّطة. فيما تطّبّق عيّنة البحث استراتيجيّتي الصّفّ المقلوب والاستقصاء بدرجة تحت الوسط. أمّا استراتيجية خريطة المفاهيم فقد كانت درجة تطبيقها من قبل عيّنة البحث بدرجة فوق الوسط. كما وكشفت نتائج البحث أنّ عدد سنوات خبرة المعلّم/ المعلّمة لا يؤثّر في درجة تطبيق الاستراتيجيّات التدريسية الحديثة في تعليم مادّة العلوم على الاستبانة ككلّ وعلى كلّ محور على حدة.
