The degree of awareness of students of the Faculty of Education at Damascus University about cloud computing services and obstacles to its use

| Abstract |
The aim of the research is to identify the degree of awareness of the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus about cloud computing services and the obstacles to using them in education. About the most prominent obstacles to the use of cloud computing services. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (208) male and female students during the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023. The results showed that the degree of awareness of the students of the College of Education about cloud computing services was medium, and that there were a number of obstacles, the most prominent of which was the weakness of the Internet and its unavailability at times, and the lack of training in the use of cloud computing services. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of awareness of students of the College of Education regarding cloud computing services, according to the gender variable (male and female). While the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of awareness of students of the College of Education in cloud computing services, according to the variable of specialization, in favor of students of curricula and educational techniques.

هدف البحث تعرّف درجة وعي طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة دمشق بخدمات الحوسبة السحابية ومعوقات استخدامها، ولتحقيق هدف البحث أعد الباحث استبانة مؤلفة من ثلاثة أقسام: تضمن القسم الأول البيانات الشخصية، كما تألف القسم الثاني من (24) بنداً، وتضمن القسم الثالث سؤالاً مفتوحاً حول أبرز معوقات استخدام خدمات الحوسبة السحابية وطبقت الاستبانة على عينة مؤلفة من (208) طلاب وطالبات خلال الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2022- 2023. أظهرت النتائج أن درجة وعي طلبة كلية التربية بخدمات الحوسبة السحابية كانت متوسطة، وأن هنالك مجموعة من المعوقات أبرزها ضعف الإنترنت وعدم توافره في بعض الأحيان، عدم التدريب على استخدام خدمات الحوسبة السحابية. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في درجة وعي طلبة كلية التربية بخدمات الحوسبة السحابية تبعاً لمتغير الجنس (ذكور، وإناث). بينما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في درجة وعي طلبة كلية التربية بخدمات الحوسبة السحابية تبعاً لمتغير الاختصاص لصالح طلبة المناهج وتقنيات التعليم.
