    This research deals with the subject of the effect of the dative and the dative on the forms of metaphor in both its metaphorical and declarative forms, by studying poetic models from Al-Mutanabbi poetry. The way in which the displacement from the origin of the meaning occurred in some of these elements, especially in the dative noun, and shows how these letters are used as verbal clues for metaphorical relations that connect the parts of the poetic phrase, and give it an influential rhetorical dimension, and it is inferred that the linguistic structure has an important and effective impact that is not in highlighting The metaphorical image only, but in deepening its semantic dimensions, and activating its imaginative activity for the recipient, and behind that aims to confirm the extent to which Al-Mutanabbi invested the synthetic and semantic function of the dative and the dative, and the capacity of his behavior in the use of prepositions in accordance with his poetic purposes, and his semantic and imaginary purposes, and stresses the importance of linking between Scientific grammar and rhetoric in the study of poetic texts in search of the secrets of creativity in them.

         يتناول هذا البحث موضوع أثر الجار والمجرور في صور الاستعارة بنوعيها المكنيّة والتصريحيّة، وذلك بدراسة نماذج شعرية من شعر المتنبي، فيتّخذ من تحليل بنية العبارات التي تظهر فيها الاستعارة بوساطة الجار والمجرور أساسًا ومنهجًا لفهم طبيعة الربط الذي تُحدِثه حروف الجر في عناصر الكلام، ليرصد بعد ذلك الطريقة التي حدث بها الانزياح عن أصل المعنى في بعض تلك العناصر ولا سيّما في الاسم المجرور، ويبيّن كيفية استعمال تلك الحروف قرائن لفظيّةً لعلاقات مجازيّة تربط أجزاء العبارة الشعرية، وتُضفي عليها بُعدًا بلاغيًّا مؤثِّرًا، ويستدلّ بذلك على أنّ للتركيب اللغوي أثرًا مهمًّا وفعَّالاً ليس في إبراز الصورة الاستعارية فحسبُ، بل في تعميق أبعادها الدلالية، وتفعيل نشاطها التخييليّ عند المتلقّي، ويهدِف من وراء ذلك إلى تأكيد مدى استثمار المتنبي وظيفةَ الجار والمجرور التركيبية والدلالية، وسَعَةِ تصرُّفه في استعمال حروف الجرّ بما يوافق أغراضه الشعرية، ومقاصدَه الدلالية والتخييليّة، ويؤكّد أهمية الربط بين علمي النحو والبلاغة في دراسة النصوص الشعرية بحثًا عن أسرار الإبداع فيها.
