| Abstract |
The study sought to investigate the role of using smart phones in enhancing educational behavior among secondary school students from their point of view. The study used a descriptive and analytical approach. The study population consisted of all secondary school students in the city of Latakia, and the study sample was limited to (737) male and female students in the stage. Secondary school students were chosen randomly. The questionnaire was chosen as a tool for the current study based on its suitability to the nature of the study and its objectives and its ability to achieve the objectives of the study. It included categorical variables such as gender and the number of hours of using a smartphone, in addition to 20 items distributed into two dimensions: positive effects and negative effects. Negative. By applying the questionnaire to the sample members, the results showed that the degree of agreement on the first dimension (positive influences) was moderate, while the degree of agreement on the second dimension (negative influences) was high. The results showed that there were differences between the average scores of secondary school students’ answers to the questionnaire according to the variable Gender: The differences were in favor of males, and there were differences according to the variable number of hours of using the smartphone. The differences were in favor of those who use the smartphone 3 hours or more.

سعت الدراسة إلى تقصي دور استخدام الهواتف الذكية في تعزيز السلوك التعليمي لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية من وجهة نظرهم، استخدمت الدراسة منهجًا وصفيًا تحليليًا، تألف مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلاب المرحلة الثانوية في مدينة اللاذقية، وتم تحديد عينة الدراسة بواقع (737) طالبًا وطالبة في المرحلة الثانوية، تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية، كما تم اختيار الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة الحالية بناءً على ملائمتها لطبيعة الدراسة وأهدافها وقدرتها على تحقيق أهداف الدراسة، وتضمنت متغيرات تصنيفية مثل النوع الاجتماعي و عدد ساعات استخدام الهاتف الذكي، إضافة إلى 20 بنداً موزعة على بعدين: تأثيرات إيجابية وتأثيرات سلبية. من خلال تطبيق الاستبانة على أفراد العينة بينت النتائج أن درجة الموافقة على البعد الأول (التأثيرات الإيجابية) كانت متوسطة، بينما درجة الموافقة على البعد الثاني (التأثيرات السلبية) كانت مرتفعة، وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق بين متوسطات درجات إجابات طلاب المرحلة الثانوية على الاستبانة تبعاً لمتغير النوع الاجتماعي، وكانت الفروق لصالح الذكور، ووجود فروق تبعاً لمتغير عدد ساعات استخدام الهاتف الذكي، وكانت الفروق لصالح من يستخدمون الهاتف الذكي 3 ساعات فأكثر.
