| Abstract |
This conducted experiment was carried out during 2008 and 2009 palm Reproduction center at Albukamal to compare four methods of fruit Bunch Thinning for two date palm cultivars in south and study their Effect on yield and fruit quality. It was concluded that Bunch Thinning by heading back of Spikes for Zaghloul cultivr at chemiry Hababouk stage was useful to prduce high quality dates.
Bunch Thinning by Removing the whole bunch at chemiry stage for Lolou cultivar Improved trees yield and date fruit quality.

| الملخص |
أجريت هذه الدراسة خلال موسمي النمو 2008 و 2009 في مركز إكثار النخيل في البوكمال من أجل مقارنة أربع طرق لخف الثمار لصنفين من نخيل التمر لمعرفة تأثيرها في المحصول ونوعية الثمار،وقد تم التوصل إلى أن خف العذوق عن طريق تقصير الشماريخ في مرحلة الحبابوك للصنف زغلول كانت الأفضل في الحصول على نوعية ثمار جيدة وبإنتاجية مقاربة لمعاملة خف العذوق بأكملها ،أما بالنسبة للصنف لولو فإن معاملة خف العذوق بأكملها أدت إلى الحصول على إنتاج عال للأشجار وبنوعية ثمار جيدة . الكلمات المفتاحية : الخف , إنتاجية , التمر , زغلول , لولو .
