This study aimed to explore the attitudes of University students to their peers with physical handicaps, and determine their self-estimate to themselves, then determine the differences of those attitudes due to variables as: sex, the interaction with handicaps, the degree of handicap. The study applied tow scales (the first is the scale of University students attitudes to their peers with physical handicaps its, the second is the scale of self-estimate of students with physical handicaps). the sample of the study contain 240 students (200 with no handicaps and 40 with physical handicaps who are in some faculties (Education, Arabic language department, English language department. History, sociality, philosophy, bibliography and information) in Damascus university. the results were: the University students have positive attitudes to their peers with physical handicaps on all items of the scale, there are differences of attitudes due to variables as: the students with moderate physical handicaps have high self-estimate to themselves more than severe handicaps, there are significant statically relation of handicaps students between student attitudes to their peers and the self-estimate to themselves.

يهدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن اتجاهات طلبة الجامعة نحو أقرانهم المعوقين حركيا وتحديد درجة تقدير الذات لدى أولئك المعوقين . ومعرفة مدى الفروق في تلك الاتجاهات تبعا لمتغير الجنس والاحتكاك بالأفراد المعوقين وشدة الإعاقة ولتحقيق ذلك أعدت الباحثة الأدوات التالية : مقياس اتجاهات طلبة الجامعة نحو أقرانهم المعوقين حركية ومقياس تقدير الذات لدي طلبة الجامعة المعوقين حركيا )، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (240) طالبا وطالبة (200) طالب وطالبة من طلبة الجامعة غير المعوقين و40 طالبة وطالبة من طلبة الجامعة المعوقين حركيا المسجلين في الكليات التالية التربية والآثار، الفلسفة اللغة العربية اللغة الإنكليزية، التاريخ، علم الاجتماع المكتبات والمعلومات في جامعة دمشق ، و أشارت النتائج إلى أن لدى طلبة الجامعة اتجاها إيجابيا نحو أقرانهم المعوقين حركية على مجمل بنود المقياس ، وأن هناك فروق في تلك الاتجاهات تبعا للمتغيرات السابقة، وأن طلبة الجامعة المعوقين حركيا ذوي الإعاقة الحركية المتوسطة لديهم درجة تقدير للذات مرتفعة مقارنة بأقرانهم ذوي الإعاقة الشديدة وذلك على مجمل بنود المقياس وهناك علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين اتجاهات طلبة الجامعة نحو أقرانهم المعوقين حركيا ودرجة تقدير الذات لدي أو لتلك المعوقين
