This research tries to show and treat the effects caused by default in the developmental plans that have regional and tourist dimension that are applied in the eastern area including Rakka city generally, and Krein area specifically, since this area has natural, environment, and tourist properties, even though it still doesn't receive any interest which affects the building environment tourist, social and cultural reality negatively.

This research also tries to recognize some concepts related to tourist and regional planning. adopt the concepts of tourist development and conclude the regional and tourist requirements and regional planning strategies to activate the tourist side.

يتناول البحث معالجة و إظهار الأثار الناجمة عن القصور في الخطط التنموية ذات البعد الإقليمي والسياحي المطبقة في المنطقة الشرقية، وذلك من خلال الاطلاع على الواقع التخطيطي لمحافظة الرقة بشكل عام ودراسة منطقة الكرين بشكل خاص ، كون هذه المنطقة تمتلك العديد من المقومات الطبيعية والبيئية والسياحية ، ولكنها لم تلق أي اهتمام مما ينعكس سلبا على الوضع العمراني والبيئي و السياحي والاجتماعي والثقافي .
