This research aims to identify some personal and professional characteristics of agricultural extensionists, identify the work time distribution on the deferent activities and the portion agricultural extension work from this time, and relation of this distribution with studies characteristics .data were collected via personal interviews by using questionnaire, the study was carried out from al-Hassaka Governorate involving (174) local agricultural extensionists by the (15%) percentage in al-Hassaka Governorate in Syria. by using these statistical analysis: frequency, percentage, and used k^2 test to studies the relationship between the time ratio available to agricultural extension activities as dependent variable and studies characteristics as independent variables, results indicated that (81.6%) from agricultural extensionists were specify less than (40%) from their time to extension work. And other time going to other activities, and those task's are responsibility other agricultural administrations in the agricultural ministry, and its directorates. for example the plan follow-up, statistical records, crop follow-up records, and marketing. ...etc.

Also, the study results showed that, there was a significant relationship between the time ratio available to agricultural extension activities and job satisfaction, but the relationship non- significant with age, sex, social case, original background, present residence, education, other work than agriculture , area of supervision, agricultural experience period, extensional experience period, attendance training courses, number of extensional training courses, range advantage of extensional training . According to these results, three recommendations have been suggested.

تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على بعض الخصائص الشخصية والمهنية للمرشدين الزراعيين بمحافظة الحسكة في سوريا , والتعرف على طبيعة توزيع هؤلاء المرشدين لوقت العمل على الأنشطة المختلفة , والتعرف على نصيب العمل الإرشادي من هذا الوقت , وعلاقة هذا التوزيع بالخصائص المدروسة . وقد صممت استمارة استبيان خاصة لجمع بيانات هذه الدراسة بالمقابلة الشخصية , وقد تم استيفاء بيانات الدراسة من 174 مرشداً ومرشدة زراعية يعملون في الوحدات الإرشادية التابعة لمحافظة الحسكة , وقد تم استخدام العرض الجدولي بالتكرار والنسب المئوية , وكذلك تم استخدام اختبار مربع کاي لدراسة العلاقة بين نسبة الوقت المخصص للأنشطة الإرشادية كمتغير تابع والخصائص المدروسة كمتغيرات مستقلة.
