| Abstract |
The research was carried out during the (2017-2018) seasons at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Damascus to study the effect of the different types of stratification on the germination rate and the length of the seedling for the walnut type (Blhsein2) using almazar sand, stratification were prepared for different periods of time (35,45 and 55 day's) in the storage laboratory of the Department Horticulture, at 5 ° C Starting in January, In addition to the control (without stratification). The results showed that 45 days of stratification performed to a clear increase in the percentage of germination of walnut seeds(75.36) % when compared to( control, 35 days, 55 days) of stratification %(35.96, 19.70 , 8.96 ) Respectively.
The treatment 45 days of stratification was significantly higher in both seasons in the average length of the plant, ( 238.27 - 237.70) cm in the first and second seasons respectively, when compared to 35 days (156-154) cm , 55 days (165-164.50)cm and control(140- 139.10)cm in both seasons.

| الملخص |
نفذ البحث خلال موسمي 2017 و2018 في مزرعة كلية الزراعة بجامعة دمشق لدراسة تأثير فترات التنضيد المختلفة في نسبة إنبات البذور وطول الغراس البذرية لطراز الجوز (بلحسين2) في وسط من رمل المزار. تم التنضيد في فترات زمنية مختلفة (35-45-55) يوماً في مخبر التخزين التابعة لقسم علوم البستنة في درجة حرارة 5 مْ بدءاً من شهر كانون الثاني بالإضافة إلى شاهد بدون تنضيد.
أظهرت النتائج أن فترة التنضيد 45 يوماً أدت إلى زيادة واضحة في النسبة المئوية لإنبات بذور الجوز(75.36)% بالمقارنة مع المعاملات(35يوماً , 55يوماً, الشاهد),(19.70 ,35.96 ,8.96 )%على التوالي، كما تفوقت معاملة التنضيد45 يوماً معنوياً وبكلا الموسمين في متوسط طول الغراس فبلغت في نهاية موسم النمو(238.27 - 237.70 ) سم في الموسم الأول والثاني على التوالي بالمقارنة مع باقي المعاملات 35يوماً(156-154)سم و55يوماً(165-164.50)سم والشاهد(140 -139.10) سم في كلا الموسمين.
